In Capítulos. Segunda Parte, Andrea Honsberg explores organic patterns and irregular forms through a direct and intuitive use of colour. Working with complementary tones, she applies paint with immediacy, without the possibility of later revision — a process that recalls the spontaneity of drawing with pastels or crayons on paper. The raw surface of the canvas becomes an active element, enhancing and modulating the intensity of the pigments.
Alongside formal experimentation, the series engages with fragments of personal experience and conversation. Everyday encounters are filtered through visual metaphor, where animals and objects appear as narrative devices.
Like fables, these works use allegory to conceal as much as they reveal. This distance allows viewers to recognise their own emotions within the imagery, transforming private reflection into a shared space of interpretation.
