Visual Artist Andrea Honsberg at her studio in London

About

Andrea Honsberg is a Mexican artist based in London with an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art and a BA in Painting and Visual Arts from the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan.

In her practice, Honsberg explores subjects such as her personal imagery, language, and the human condition. She finds beauty in everyday objects and conversations that often become recurring thoughts or even obsessions. Drawing inspiration from both Mexican culture and international influences, her works displays a unique playfulness, reflected in the awkward shapes, bold colours, organic patterns and the narratives she creates.

Additionally, she often adds both a tactile dimension and movement to her projects by working with video, painting, sculpture, and installation.
