Lazy-Tasty Land

‘Lazy-Tasty Land’ is a work that incorporates food, sound, AR and uncomfortable presences. It invites the public not only to observe but to immerse themselves and become an essential part of it. The performance reflects on power dynamics, seduction, manipulation and it is meant to transmute each time it is carried out in order to avoid familiarity. This will challenge all parties involved to go undergo a series of unsettling sensations. There is a particular focus on elements that, while being contrasting, exhibit a complementary relationship.

The Scrumptious Fruit Dragon welcomes the guests and makes its duty to attend each and every one of their needs. As the guests warm up to the character, they slowly become participants of a three-course meal. Throughout the performance, there is an important shift where the creatures, who were initially the center of attention, merely fade into the background.
