Capítulos. Primera Parte began in 2020, when two artists initiated weekly video calls that developed into a sustained exchange of ideas and images. The conversation evolved into an ongoing series of paintings, drawings, and short, GIF-like animations that explore the relationship between memory, repetition, and visual translation.

The works operate as fragments of recollection — a bird, a swimming pool, polished nails, a sleepover. Each element appears as a visual note, isolated yet suggestive of a larger narrative. By framing these everyday details through painting and animation, the project reflects on the ways in which the ordinary becomes a vessel for emotional and cultural meaning.

Together, these images form a dispersed narrative where moments once peripheral gain permanence. The series questions how identity is shaped through mutable memories and how visual form can both preserve and distort personal experience.
